Electronic signatures have gone mainstream as companies seek to speed up signing processes to improve experiences, reduce cost and mitigate risk.
New research from Adobe, produced in partnership with London Research, looks at how organisations are employing e‑signature technology and the resulting business benefits.
Among the key findings of this research:
- Just over half (54%) of businesses surveyed now use some form of electronic signatures, and a further third plan to adopt the technology.
- E-signatures are most commonly used by sales departments. Almost half (49%) of companies said they were using the technology in sales, and a further 41% are considering its implementation.
- The main reported benefits of using electronic signatures are improved productivity and a better experience for customers, employees and partners.
